Seven educational projects were inaugurated and overhauled this afternoon, Monday, April 7, 1400, in the presence of the Deputy Minister of Education and the Head of the Organization for Renovation, Development and Equipping of the Country Schools in Pakdasht city of Tehran province.
In this ceremony, two schools were inaugurated in Baharan neighborhood and Gheshlagh village of Hajiabad and the construction of 5 more schools began with the cooperation of Barakat Foundation and the General Department of Renovation, Development and Equipping of Schools in Tehran Province.
In this ceremony, which was held in the presence of the Deputy Minister of Education, Messrs. Mehdi Yousefi Jamarani, Governor of Pakdasht, Bashiri, Representative of Pakdasht people in the Islamic Consultative Assembly, Hosseinpour, Director General of School Renovation, Development and Equipping of Tehran Province, Seidlou, Director General of Education of Tehran Province, Mojani Khair School-Building and the Chairman of the Board of the School-Building Donors Association of Tehran cities and a group of provincial and local officials were also present.
Pakdasht city with a population of 350,000 is located 25 km southeast of Tehran.
In the current academic year, 80,000 students are studying at different levels of education, 15% of whom are citizens.
Pakdasht has 326 educational spaces, which is the total number of schools in the city, 76 non-governmental schools and the rest are public.
